Fight the Solstice
| For tens of thousands of years, we’ve celebrated with traditions of generosity to friends and loved ones, to bring health and joy during the darkest period of the year. I feel like I’m always on the receiving end of this generosity from CrossFit.
I want to say thanks to everyone involved in CrossFit, and especially to Coach who started it all. It was this virtual community that first drew me in and gave me a new direction for a lifelong passion. I love what all of you have created, and I’m thankful to be a part of it. Merry Christmas!– Kirez * * * * * Athletes in the news today: |

December 25th, 2008 at 1:32 pmBegin with your 12 squats, then go back to the top and do 12 squats, and 11 sit-ups. Then back to top and do 12 squats, 11 situps, 10 wallballs…and so on until you get to the 2 front squat. Then you do the whole thing one last time and run 1 mile at end to FINEX. For Rx do all body-weight reps in unbroken sets, and do not put bar down between 95lb weighted sets. Post your time and comments in the CrossFit forums.
